Materials that give existing resources a new life are part of our timeless design approach. We consider texture, durability and longevity alongside appearance.
Our material approach · 01
In selected Fall Winter 2027 designs, we use recycled genuine leather, reclaimed lamb shearling, ecological faux fur and organic wool–cotton blends. We evaluate each material according to its character, performance and potential for long-term use.

04 · Alternative Fur
Chosen as an alternative to genuine fur, its dense texture and warmth unite strong visual impact with a more considered material choice.

Value lies not only in where a material comes from, but in how long it lives.
A lifecycle approach · 03
A considered product is shaped by more than one decision. Material, construction, production, care and the way a piece remains in use are parts of the same cycle.
We examine a material's source, composition, touch, performance and suitability for the intended form before it enters a design.
Design, pattern development and sampling are brought together in our Istanbul atelier, allowing fit and construction to be refined closely.
Keeping development and quality control close helps us make deliberate choices and respond precisely throughout production.
Clear care guidance supports the preservation of texture, form and performance so that each piece can remain in a wardrobe longer.
Close production · 04
NISSE develops its collections through its Istanbul atelier, working with Italian mills and Turkish fabric houses. Bringing design, pattern, material selection, production follow-up and quality evaluation into one connected process makes every decision more visible.
This proximity does not turn sustainability into a finished claim. It creates the control needed to question materials, improve construction and identify the next step with greater clarity.
Designed for longevity · 05
We approach silhouette beyond a single season. Distinctive yet enduring forms are designed to remain relevant as styling and wardrobes evolve.
Appearance alone is not enough. We consider how a surface feels, moves, holds its shape and responds to repeated wear.
Following product-specific care instructions can protect fibers and construction. Small care decisions can meaningfully extend a garment's useful life.
Transparency · 06
We use “sustainability” as a direction for continuous improvement, not as a universal label for every product. Our priority is to communicate what we know, avoid claims we cannot substantiate and expand the information we can share over time.
Sustainability is not a finished claim for us, but an evolving field of work. As our collections develop, we will continue to share the materials we use and the steps we take with transparency.
