Built between cultures.
Designed for women
who belong everywhere.
BUILT AT THE INTERSECTION OF CULTURES. WORN BY WOMEN WHO OWN EVERY ROOM THEY WALK INTO.
NISSE was founded in Istanbul in 2012 by Nargisse E. Akyüz, a Moroccan Canadian designer who arrived in one of the world's most layered cities and built something that could only have come from someone who has always lived between worlds.
That woman, professional, global, confident, always moving, became the centre of everything NISSE does. Not a mood board fantasy. A real woman with a boardroom at 9am, a dinner at 8pm, and no interest in changing who she is between the two.
Since its founding, NISSE has evolved from an Istanbul based atelier into a globally recognised contemporary luxury brand with an expanding international presence across fashion, retail, and cultural spaces.

HOW WE DESIGN
Every NISSE collection begins with a question: what does a woman who moves between cultures, time zones, and occasions actually need in her wardrobe?
The answer is never trend-chasing. It is architectural cuts that hold their shape, Italian and silk-grade fabrics that travel, and details refined enough to hold up under any scrutiny — in any city, at any table.Design, pattern making, fabric sourcing, production and quality control are all handled in-house — from our Istanbul atelier, with materials sourced directly from Italian mills and Turkey's finest fabric houses. Nothing is outsourced to fit a budget. Everything is built to last beyond a season.
The NISSE woman is ageless. She's defined not by when she was born but by how she moves through the world, with intention, with authority, and without apology. She runs companies, closes deals, travels for work and pleasure, and hosts the kind of dinners people talk about for years.
She doesn't shop for trends. She builds a wardrobe with intention, and she expects every piece in it to work as hard as she does.
WHERE WE'RE GOING
NISSE is at an inflection point. The foundation — the atelier, the network, the archive, the community — is built. What comes next is scale: more markets, more wholesale partners, more women finding a brand that was made for exactly who they are.
The brand has never needed to shout. It has always grown through the quiet confidence of women who wore it and didn't stop talking about it.
